Indian Art & History Celebration
November 14, 2007I really enjoyed the Indian Art Show this weekend despite having a cold. It was great to meet and talk to the artists at the reception. They were all so friendly. I bought a few prints from Anita Caldwell Jackson. Below is the print that I bought for Aubry.
Anita’s website is www.twonationsart.com. I loved all of her artwork. I bought a print for Helena as well. It’s actually the image on her business card if you have one, but I bought the pencil-only version. Anita’s art is awesome.
I also bought Helena a print by Victoria McKinney with the Pink-Poodle contrary.
Victoria’s website is http://www.victoriamckinney.com
So many great stories. The music was also amazing!

My first tile
October 31, 2007I originally put this up on the Foothills blog, but thought I should share it here as well.
Each gallery member received at least 1 of these 6 x 6 masonite “tiles” for their own creative pleasure. InTown Gallery did a similar project, and put created a larger mosaic piece with all of the tiles. Pretty cool.
